ดอก : ดอกแยกเพศ ดอกเพศผู้ออกเป็นช่อเล็กๆ ตามกิ่ง ดอกย่อยมี 4 กลีบ ปลายกลีบแยกเป็นแฉกเล็กๆ มีกลีบเลี้ยง 4 กลีบ มีเกสรเพศผู้ 14-16 อัน มีขนสีน้ำตาลปกคลุม ดอกเพศเมียมีกลีบดอกและกลีบเลี้ยงเหมือนเพศผู้ แต่มีเกสรเพศเมีย 1 อัน และเกสรเพศผู้ทีไม่เจริญ 8-10 อัน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น เปลือกต้นสีดำ แตกเป็นสะเก็ดหนา [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปทรงกลม มีกลีบเลี้ยงติดอยู่ ผลอ่อนมีขนสีน้ำตาลปกคลุม ผลสุกมีสีแดง เมล็ดเป็นรูปไข่แบน มีเนื้อหุ้มเมล็ดสีขาว [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ปลายใบมน มีติ่งสั้น เนื้อใบเหนียว หลังใบเป็น ก้านใบสั้น [1]
