ดอก : ออกตามง่ามใบ กลีบดอกเป็นรูปแตร เป็นสีฟ้าอ่อน หรือฟ้าสด และจะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีแดง หรือสีม่วงแดง กลีบรองดอกนุ่มอุ้มน้ำ [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นเลื้อยพัน หรือเลื้อยไปตามพื้น มีขนแข็ง [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามสองข้างทาง ตามที่รกร้าง หรือตามทุ่งหญ้า [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปไข่หรือรูปกลม มีติ่งแหลม ผิวเกลี้ยง มีรังไข่ 3 ช่อง ภายในมีเมล็ดเป็นสีดำ มีขนละเอียด [1]

ใบ : เป็นรูปไข่ ปลายใบเรียวแหลม ขอบใบเรียบ หรือจักเป็น 3 แฉก โคนใบเป็นรูปหัวใจ ผิวใบมีขนทั้ง 2 ด้าน [1]
