ดอก : ออกเป็นกระจุก ตรงปลายกิ่ง กลีบดอกจะมีลักษณะเป็นหลอดสีแดงมีความยาวประมาณ 3-4 ซม. ส่วนกลีบรองกลีบดอกนั้นจะเป็นสีเขียว [1] [6] [7]

ดอก : เป็นช่อกลีบดอกสีแดงส้ม โคนกลีบสีเขียวติดกันเป็นหลอดยาว ปลายแยกเป็น 2 ปาก ไม่ค่อยออกดอก [1] [5]

ดอก : เป็นช่อตั้งแต่ 5 ดอกขึ้นไป มีสีแดงอมแสด [6]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้พุ่มแกมเถา มักจะเลื้อยพาดพันไปตามต้นไม้อื่น ๆ ลักษณะลำต้นนั้นจะมีผิวเกลี้ยง ส่วนต้นอ่อนจะเป็นสีเขียว [7]

ต้น : ไม้พุ่มรอเลื้อย สูง 1-3 เมตร [1] [5]

ผล : ผลแห้ง แตกได้ [1] [5]

ใบ : ออกตรงข้ามกันเป็นคู่ ๆ ลักษณะใบนั้นจะยาวเรียบและแหลม มีความกว้างประมาณ 2-3 ซม. และยาวประมาณ 7-9 ซม. ขอบใบค่อนข้างเรียบ มีขนนุ่มตามเส้นใบ [7]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยวเรียงตรงข้าม รูปใบหอก กว้าง 1-3 ซม. ยาว 4-12 ซม.สีเขียวเข้ม [1] [5] [6]
