ดอก : เป็นช่ออัดแน่นเป็นทรงกลมที่ซอกใบ มีสีส้ม โคนดอกเชื่อมกันเป็นหลอด ปลายแยกเป็น 2 ปาก กลีบเลี้ยงมีสีเขียว [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นเป็นร่องลึกสีเขียว มีขน ไม่แตกกิ่ง [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามที่รกร้าง หรือปลูกเป็นไม้ประดับ [2]

ผล : เป็นผลแห้ง รูปไข่ มีผลย่อย 4 ผล มีสีดำ [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่แกมรูปหัวใจ ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบมนเว้า ขอบใบจักเป็นฟันเลื่อย ใบมีขนทั้ง 2 ด้าน [1]
