ดอก : สีเหลืองออกเป็นช่อ แต่อาจจะเกิดเดี่ยวหรือเป็นคู่ มีก้านดอกยาว ดอกออกตามซอกระหว่างใบกับลำต้น [1]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ หรือบางทีก็ออกดอกเดี่ยว มีสีเหลืองและมีกลีบอยู่ 5 กลีบ กลีบเป็นรูปหัวใจ หรือบางทีก็ปลายมน กลีบเลี้ยงสีเขียวมีอยู่ 5 กลีบ ก้านดอกยาวเท่ากับก้านใบได้ เกสรมี 10 อันอยู่กลางดอก [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ขนาดเล็ก หรือเป็นหญ้าคล้ายผักแว่น ลำต้นจะเลื้อยแผ่ไปตามพื้นดิน แตกกิ่งก้านสาขามากมาย ตามลำต้นจะมีขนอ่อนๆ นุ่มๆ สีขาวปกคลุมอยู่ทั่วทั้งต้นและใบ ลำต้นยาวประมาณ 20 นิ้ว [4]

ต้น : เป็นพืชล้มลุกอายุหลายฤดู ชอบขึ้นในที่ร่มที่ชื้นแฉะใกล้น้ำ ลำต้นเลื้อย แตกรากและยอดใหม่ตามข้อที่แตะกับดิน ลำต้นและใบมีขน [1]

ผล : เป็นฝักรูปทรงกระบอกมี 5 เหลี่ยม ปลายแหลมมีขนปกคลุม เมื่อแก่และแห้งจะแตกตัวดีดเมล็ดออกมาจากฝัก เมล็ดมีขนาดเล็กสีน้ำตาลแดงจำนวนมาก [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปแท่งทรงกระบอก ปลายแหลม มีอยู่ 5 เหลี่ยม ยาวประมาณ 0.5-1 นิ้ว ตามผลมีขนอ่อนๆ ปกคลุมอยู่ทั่วทั้งผล มีสีเขียวอ่อนๆ ออกขาว มีเมล็ดอยู่จำนวนมากเป็นรูปแบนรี สีน้ำตาล ผลแก่แตกออกและดีดเมล็ดกระเด็นไปได้ไกล [4]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบ มีใบย่อยรูปหัวใจ 3 ใบ ขนาดเท่ากัน ก้านใบยาว [1]

ใบ : เป็นไม้ใบประกอบ ก้านหนึ่งมีใบอยู่ 3 ใบ ใบย่อยเป็นรูปหัวใจ มีสีเขียว ก้านใบชูใบตั้งขึ้นยาวประมาณ 1-2 นิ้ว มีสีเขียว [4]
