ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ อยู่ตรงส่วนยอดของต้นและตามง่ามใบ ดอกมีสีม่วงอ่อน ดอกที่โคนก้านช่อบานก่อนแล้วจะบานขึ้นไปตามลำดับ ดอกยาวประมาณ 0.5 นิ้ว มีอยู่ 5 กลีบเกสรที่อยู่กลางดอกเป็นสีม่วงเข้ม [1] [2] [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้น แตกกิ่งก้านสาขาออกรอบ ๆ ต้นจำนวนมาก เป็นพรรณไม้ผลัดใบ ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 20 เมตร [1] [2] [4]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามป่าไผ่ ป่าดิบ บนภูเขาหินปูน [6]

ผล : ผลเป็นลูกกลม ๆ โตประมาณ 0.5 นิ้ว เมื่ออ่อนเป็นสีเขียว พอแก่เป็นสีเหลืองอ่อน ในผลแบ่งออกเป็น 4-5 ห้อง แต่ละห้องมีเมล็ดอยู่ 1 เมล็ด [1] [2] [4]

ใบ : ออกใบเป็นช่อ ช่อหนึ่งมีใบอยู่ประมาณ 3-5 ใบ ช่อใบยาว 8 นิ้ว ลักษณะของใบย่อยเป็นรูปไข่ ปลายแหลม โคนใบสอบ ขอบใบจักเป็นฟันเลื่อย ใบด้านบนเป็นสีเขียวเข้ม ส่วนด้านล่างเป็นสีเขียวอ่อน ตามเส้นใบจะมีขนอ่อน ๆ ปกคลุมอยู่ ขนาดของใบกว้างประมาณ 1-1.5 นิ้ว ยาว 1.5-3 นิ้ว [1] [2] [4]
