ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ดอกมีสีขาว ปากดอกด้านล่างเป็นสีม่วงเข้ม โคนดอกเชื่อมติดกัน มีกาบใบหุ้มดอก [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก มีเหง้าอยู่ใต้ดิน เนื้อในสีม่วงเข้ม [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่หรือรูปรี โคนใบเบี้ยวหรือเว้าเล็กน้อย ปลายใบแหลม ขอบใบเรียบ ท้องใบมีสีม่วงแดง [1]
