ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว มีกลีบรองดอก 4 กลีบ เป็นรูปมนโค้ง มีสีเหลือง กลีบดอก 4 กลีบ เป็นรูปไข่ มีสีชมพูแก่ [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น กิ่งอ่อนเป็นเหลี่ยม เปลือกต้นเป็นสีน้ำตาลคล้ำ มีน้ำยางสีเหลือง [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ปลูกมากทางภาคใต้ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ของประเทศไทย [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปกลมรี แบนเล็กน้อย ขั้วมีกลีบรองดอกติดอยู่ เปลือกหนา ผลอ่อนมีสีเขียว ผลแก่เปลี่ยนเป็นสีม่วงอมน้ำตาล ภายในมีเมล็ด 6-8 เมล็ด มีเนื้อนุ่มสีขาวหุ้ม [1]

ใบ : ใบรูปไข่ หรือรูปรี ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบสอบเข้าหากัน ขอบใบเรียบ ผิวใบเรียบ เนื้อหนา ท้องใบเห็นเส้นใบชัดเจน [1]
