ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อขนาดใหญ่ ออกตามบริเวณปลายกิ่ง ดอกมีขนาดเล็ก สีขาวนวล หรือสีเหลืองอ่อน ๆ ดอกหนึ่งมีกลีบรองกลีบดอกเล็ก ประมาณ 4 กลีบโคนกลีบเชื่อมติดกัน และมีกลีบดอกประมาณ 5 กลีบ กลีบข้างนอกจะมีขนสั้น ๆ สีน้ำตาลปนแดง ขึ้นประปรายและตรงกลางดอกมีเกสรตัวผู้อยู่ 10 อัน [1]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้น ขนาดกลาง ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 5-10 เมตร ลักษณะของลำต้นมีเปลือกเป็นสีน้ำตาลอมเทา พื้นผิวเปลือกค่อนข้างเรียบ เรือนยอดของลำต้นหนาทึบ [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามป่าเบญจพรรณชื้น หรือป่าดงดิบแล้งในทุกภาคของประเทศไทย [4]

ผล : มีรูปลักษณะค่อนข้างกลม [1]

ใบ : ออกเป็นช่อ เรียงสลับกัน ช่อหนึ่งมีใบย่อยประมาณ 5-9 คู่ ใบย่อยมีลักษณะเป็นรูปหอก โคนใบสอบเข้าหากัน ส่วนปลายใบเรียวแหลม ขนาดของใบกว้างประมาณ 0.6-1.2 นิ้ว ยาวประมาณ 2.5-4 นิ้ว ใบมีสีเขียวคล้าย ๆ กับใบทองหลาง [1]
