| ดอก : ออกเป็นกระจุก ดอกสีเหลืองอ่อน มีกลิ่นหอม แยกเพศ ดอกเพศผู้ออกเป็นกระจุกๆ ละ 1-5 ดอก ก้านดอกยาว 10-12 มม. โคนดอกมีริ้วประดับเล็กๆ ติดอยู่ 1-2 อัน มีกลีบเลี้ยง 4 กลีบ มีลักษณะกลม งอเป็นกระพุ้ง มีกลีบดอก 4 กลีบ สีเหลือง เป็นรูปไข่แกมขอบขนาน โค้ง ปลายกลีบกลม มีเกสรตัวผู้จำนวนมาก ก้านเกสรสั้น ดอกเพศเมียออกเป็นกระจุกๆ ละ 1-3 ดอก มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าดอกเพศผู้เล็กน้อย ก้านดอกสั้น มีลักษณะดอกเหมือนดอกเพศผู้ เกสรเพศเมียไม่มีก้าน [1] |
| ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น ไม่ผลัดใบ ลำต้นเปลาตรง เปลือกต้นเรียบ มีสีเทา มียางสีเหลือง [1] |
| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นตามไหล่เขาในป่าดิบชื้น หรือป่าโปร่ง ในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ [1] |
| ผล : มีลักษณะค่อนข้างกลม ผิวเกลี้ยง ผลมีกลีบเลี้ยงติดอยู่และพับหักลง มีเมล็ด 1-4 เมล็ด [1] |
| ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปขอบขนานรีแกมขอบขนาน รูปไข่แกมขอบขนาน หรือรูปหอก ปลายใบเรียวแหลม หรือมีติ่ง โคนใบสอบ ขอบใบเรียบ เนื้อใบค่อนข้างหนา ก้านใบยาว 7-18 มม. [1] |
