ดอก : ออกที่ซอกใบ และที่ปลายกิ่ง กลีบดอกด้านนอกสีเขียวอ่อน ด้านในสีนวล [2] [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้น ขนาดกลาง ลักษณะลำต้น และกิ่งก้านจะมีหนามแหลมคม ยาวประมาณ 2.5 ซม. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

ถิ่นที่พบ : เป็นพรรณไม้พื้นเมืองของประเทศอินเดีย ศรีลังกา และออสเตรเลีย [8]

ผล : มีลักษณะเป็นรูปรีกลม หรือรียาว มีขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางประมาณ 2.5-4 นิ้ว ยาวประมาณ 4-5.5 นิ้ว พื้นผิวเปลือกเรียบเกลี้ยง เปลือกของมันหนา แข็ง ผลอ่อน มีเปลือกเป็นสีเขียว เมื่อผลแก่หรือสุกเต็มที่สีเปลือกจะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีเขียวอมเหลือง ภายในผลมีเนื้อผลเป็นสีส้มปนเหลือง เป็นเนื้อนิ่ม และมีเมล็ดเป็นจำนวนมาก ซึ่งฝังอยู่ในเนื้อของมัน [2] [4]

ผล : เป็นผลสด เนื้อในสีเหลือง มีน้ำเมือก [2] [4]

ใบ : เป็นประกอบ มีใบย่อยประมาณ 3 ใบ ลักษณะของใบย่อย เป็นรูปไข่ ปลายใบแหลม พื้นผิวใบเรียบเกลี้ยงเป็นมัน ใบอ่อนใช้กินเป็นอาหารได้ กว้าง 2-7 ซม. ยาว 4-13 ซม. ขอบใบหยักมน [1] [2] [4]
