ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อกระจุกแยกแขนง ออกที่ปลายกิ่ง ดอกย่อยหลายดอก กลีบดอกสีขาว เชื่อมติดกันเป็นหลอดรูปกรวย มีกลิ่นหอม [1]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่ออยู่ตรงส่วนยอดของต้น ดอกเป็นช่อใหญ่มีสีขาว มีกลิ่นหอม ดอกหนึ่งมีอยู่ 5 กลีบ ตรงโคนกลีบจะซ้อน ๆ กันเป็นรูปหลอด และบานออกเป็นรูปกรวย ภายในหลอดดอกมีขนประปราย [7]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้นขนาดเล็ก แตกกิ่งก้านสาขาออกไป มีกิ่งก้านที่เปราะและอุ้มน้ำ ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 4-6 เมตร และมีน้ำยางสีขาว [7]

ต้น : ไม้ยืนต้นขนาดเล็ก สูง 3-6 เมตร ทุกส่วนมีน้ำยางขาว [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : เป็นพรรณไม้ในเขตอเมริกากลาง [8]

ผล : ผลแห้ง เป็นฝักคู่สีม่วงแกมน้ำตาล เมล็ดมีขนสีขาว [1]

ผล : เป็นฝัก ยาวเรียว มีผิวเกลี้ยง ยาวประมาณ 6-11 นิ้ว ภายในมีเมล็ดเป็นรูปแบน ๆ อยู่จำนวนมาก [7]

ใบ : ออกใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับกันไปแบบขั้นบันได แต่ใบจะดกที่ปลายกิ่ง ลักษณะของใบเป็นรูปไข่กลับ ตรงปลายมน โคนใบสอบแคบ ขอบใบเรียบ ด้านบนมีผิวเป็นมันสีเขียวเข้ม ส่วนด้านล่างมีขนสั้น ๆ ประปราย และมองเห็นเส้นใบได้ชัดเจน ขนาดของใบกว้างประมาณ 2-3.5 นิ้ว ยาว 8-13 นิ้ว ก้านใบยาว 2-2.5 นิ้ว [7]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับ รูปใบหอกกลับ กว้าง 5-8 ซม. ยาว 20-32 ซม. [1]
