ดอก : ออกดอกเป็นช่อ กลีบดอกสีขาว-สีชมพูอมม่วง มีใบประดับสีม่วง [3]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ตั้งขึ้นเป็นชั้น ๆ คล้ายรูปฉัตร กลีบดอกกะเพราขาว มีสีขาว แต่ถ้าเป็นกะเพราแดง มีสีชมพูอมม่วง [1]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้พุ่มขนาดเล็ก มีความสูงประมาณ 1-4 ฟุต จากโคนของลำต้น เนื้อไม้เป็นไม้เนื้อแข็ง มีขน มีกลิ่นหอม กิ่งก้านเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยม ส่วนปลายของมันจะอ่อน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุกขนาดเล็ก สูงประมาณ 0.8- 1.5 ม. ส่วนที่เป็นยอดอ่อนจะมีขนปกคลุม [3]

ผล : เป็นผลแห้งภายในมีผลย่อย 4 ผล [3]

เมล็ด : เมื่อแก่หรือแห้งเมล็ดจะเป็นสีดำ อยู่ข้างในซึ่งหุ้มด้วยกลีบเลี้ยงของมัน [1]

ใบ : มีสีเขียวเรียกว่า กะเพราขาว ใบสีแดงเรียกว่า กะเพราแดง ใบของมันมีขนเฉพาะส่วนที่เป็นยอดของมันจะมีมากกว่าส่วนอื่น [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยวออกตรงข้าม ใบรูปไข่กลม กว้าง 2-3 ซม. ยาว 3-4 ซม. ทุกส่วนของต้นมีกลิ่นหอม [3]
