ดอก : ดอกตัวผู้และดอกตัวเมียอยู่ต่างดอกกัน ออกใบที่ปลายกิ่ง ดอกตัวเมียอยู่เดี่ยวๆ ดอกตัวผู้มีขนาดเล็กกว่ามากและอยู่รวมกันเป็นช่อกระจุก [3]

ดอก : ดอกตัวผู้จะรวมกันเป็นช่อดอก แบบหัวกลม และมีก้านดอกที่สั้น มีสีเหลืองอมเขียวหรือเกือบจะขาว ส่วนดอกตัวเมียนั้นก้านจะยาว และมักจะอกเป็นคู่สีเขียว ดอกออกที่ซอกใบ แยกเพศอยู่คนละต้น [5] [8]

ดอก : ออกดอกเป็นช่อ ดอกมีขนาดเล็ก สีขาวและเหลือง [2]

ต้น : สูงประมาณ 10-20 เมตร ผิวเปลือกลำต้นสีเทา ค่อนข้างขาว โคนลำต้นตรง เนื้อไม้เหนียว ส่วนบนค่อนข้างคดงอเป็นปุ่มปม และเป็นร่องเล็กน้อย [2]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ต้นขนาดเล็กถึงขนาดกลาง สูง 5-15 ม. ไม่ผลัดใบ ลำต้นค่อนข้างคดงอ เป็นปุ่มปม [3] [4]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นตามพื้นราบและป่าเบญจพรรณทั่วๆ ไป [2]

ผล : ผลกลมมีสีเหลือง คล้ายกับเม็ดพริกไทยสีขาว ผลสุกมีสีเหลืองอ่อนเปลือกชั้นนอกนิ่มและฉ่ำน้ำ รูปไข่ ขนาดประมาณ 0.5 ซม. มีเนื้อฉ่ำน้ำหุ้ม มีเมล็ดขนาดประมาณเมล็ดพริกไทย ผลแก่สีเหลือง เนื้อหุ้มเมล็ดมีรสหวานกินได้ นกชอบกิน [4] [5]

ผล : มีขนาดเล็กเท่าหัวเข็มหมุด เรียบ ผลอ่อนมีสีขาวหรือเทา เปลือกในมียางสีขาว เมื่อสุกผลสีเหลืองรับประทานได้ แต่ไม่เป็นที่นิยม [2]

ผล : เป็นรูปไข่ เมื่อสุกสีเหลือง [1]

เมล็ด(ผล) : ผลสุกมีสีเหลืองอ่อน เปลือกชั้นนอกนิ่มและฉ่ำน้ำ เมล็ดมีลักษณะเกือบกลมคล้ายเม็ดพริกไท [4] [5]

ใบ : มีขนาดเล็กหนาแข็ง ถ้าจับดูทั้ง 2 ด้านจะสากคายคล้ายกับกระดาษทราย ขอบใบจะหยักแบบซี่ฟัน [4] [5] [8]

ใบ : ออกจากปลายกิ่งมีขนาดเล็กสีเขียว ขอบใบเรียบ โคนใบมนแหลม ปลายใบแหลม ใบหนา หยาบคล้ายกระดาษทราย [2]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับ รูปไข่แกมขอบขนาน รูปวงรี หรือรูปไข่กลับ กว้าง 2-4 ซม. ยาว 4-8 ซม. [1]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยวเรียงตัวแบบสลับ ตัวใบมีรูปร่างหลายลักษณะ มีทั้งรูปรี รูปสามเหลี่ยมขนมเปียกปูน รูปไข่ ปลายมนโค้ง โคนใบแหลม ขอบใบหยัก ขนาดกว้าง 2-4 ซม. ยาว 3-7 ซม. เนื้อใบหยาบและระคายมือ [3]
