ดอก : ออกเป็นช่ออยู่ตามง่ามใบ ช่อหนึ่งมีดอกอยู่ประมาณ 2-6 ดอก แต่จะทยอยกันบานทีละดอก เป็นรูปปากแตร ยาวประมาณ 2.5 นิ้ว มีสีม่วงอมชมพู ม่วงอมแดง ชมพู หรือม่วง มีผิวเกลี้ยง ตรงด้านในของดอกแถวๆ โคนดอกสีเข้มกว่าด้านนอก ดอกเหี่ยวง่าย [1] [6]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ล้มลุก มีลำต้นทอดเลื้อยไปตามพื้นดิน เลื้อยได้ยาวมาก ประมาณ 5-30 เมตร ลำต้นเป็นสันและเกลี้ยง มีรากมีข้อ เป็นรากแก้วใหญ่ และมียางสีขาว [1] [6]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามหาดทราย [7]

ผล : ผลแห้ง แตกได้ รูปกลมหรือรูปไข่ [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปมนรี คล้ายกับ Capsule ยาวประมาณ 1-17 มม. แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ช่อง เมล็ดเมื่อแก่จัดจะเป็นสีดำและมีขนปกคลุมอยู่รอบ ๆ เมล็ด [6]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับ กว้าง 7-11 ซม. ยาว 5-8 ซม. ค่อนข้างหนา โคนใบรูปหัวใจ ปลายเว้าลึก [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว แตกออกจากลำเถาเพียงด้านเดียวเท่านั้น ใบเป็นรูปกลม รูปไต หรือรูปไข่ ปลายใบจะเว้าหรือมน โคนใบสอบแคบหรือสอบเป็นหางไปยังก้านใบ เนื้อใบหนาเล็กน้อย ผิวเป็นมัน ใบยาว 1.5-4 นิ้วสีเขียว [6]
