ดอก : พุทธรักษา มีดอกหลายสีด้วยกัน เช่นสีแดง สีเหลือง สีแดงอมเหลือง สีส้ม ฯลฯ ออกเป็นช่อตรงส่วนยอดของลำต้น ช่อหนึ่งจะมีความยาวประมาณ 20-25 ซม. [3]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อตรงยอดของลำต้น ช่อมีขนาดยาว 15-25 เซนติเมตร เมื่อออกดอกแล้วจะติดผลสีเขียวมีหนามตื้นๆ เป็นพู [1] [2] [6] [7]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ล้มลุก เนื้ออ่อนอวบน้ำ ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 1-2 เมตร มีลำต้นอยู่ใต้ดินเรียกว่า เหง้า มีการเจริญเติบโตโดยแตกหน่อเป็นกอคล้ายกับกล้วย ลักษณะหน่อที่เจริญเป็นต้นเหนือพื้นดินนั้นมีลักษณะกลมแบนสีเขียวขนาดลำต้นโตประมาณ 2-4 เซนติเมตร [7]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ล้มลุกเนื้ออ่อน ขึ้นรวมกันเป็นกอและเป็นต้นเดี่ยวไม่แตกกิ่งก้านสาขา จะมีข้อแต่ค่อนข้างจะห่างกัน ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 1.5 เมตร ลำต้นเหนียวและอุ้มน้ำ [3] [6]

ต้น : เป็นพืชล้มลุก จำพวกมีลำต้นแท้อยู่ใต้ดิน และมีลำต้นเทียมที่ประกอบด้วยก้านใบ รวมกันคล้ายต้นกล้วย สูงประมาณ 50-200 เซนติเมตร [1] [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในประเทศอินเดีย แอฟริกา และอเมริกา [9]

ผล : จะมีลักษณะกลมโตเท่าผลมะไฟ เปลือกนอกจะเป็นสีเขียว และมีขนหรือหนามอ่อน ๆ อยู่ภายนอก คล้ายกับลูกละหุ่งหรือลูกเร่ว มีเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางยาวประมาณ 2.5 ซม. [3]

ผล : ผลแก่จะมีสีดำภายในมีเมล็ดขนาดเท่าเมล็ดถั่วลันเตา [1] [2]

ผล : มีลักษณะกลมโตเท่าผลมะไฟ เปลือกนอกจะเป็นสีเขียว และมีขนหรือหนามอ่อน ๆ อยู่ภายนอก คล้ายกับลูกละหุ่งหรือลูกเร่ว มีเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางยาวประมาณ 2.5 ซม. [3]

ใบ : มีขนาดใหญ่สีเขียวโคนใบและปลายใบรีแหลม ขอบใบเรียบ กลางใบเป็นเส้นนูนเห็นได้ชัดโคนใบมีก้านใบซึ้งยาวเป็นกาบใบหุ้มลำต้นซ้อนสลับกัน ขนาดใบกว้างประมาณ 10-15 เซนติเมตร ยาวประมาณ 25-35 เซนติเมตร [6] [7]

ใบ : ลักษณะของใบจะยาวรี ปลายใบแหลม ขอบใบเรียบเป็นสีเขียวสด ขนาดใบยาวประมาณ 30-40 ซม. [3]

ใบ : เป็นแผ่นคล้ายใบพาย หรือรูปหอก ใบมีสีเขียวสด เส้นใบเรียงขนานกัน เหมือนใบกล้วย ยาวประมาณ 30-40 เซนติเมตร ก้านใบเป็นกาบหุ้มลำต้น [1] [2]
