| ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ตั้งตรง มีขนาดยาว ประมาณ 4-16 นิ้ว ลักษณะของดอกมีกลีบรอง กลีบดอกยาวประมาณ 2-4 มม. ส่วนที่เป็นฐานกลีบจะเชื่อมติดกัน ปลายกลีบแยกออกเป็นแฉก 5 แฉก กลีบดอกจะเชื่อมติดกันเป็นท่อ ยาวประมาณ 2-3 นิ้ว กว้างประมาณ 2 มม. ปลายกลีบแยกออกเป็น 5 กลีบ ในขนาดที่ไม่เท่ากัน ตรงกลางดอกก็จะมีเกสรตัวผู้และตัวเมีย ติดอยู่ด้านในใกล้ปากท่อ [5] |
| ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อที่ปลายกิ่ง ยาว 15-25 ซม. ทะยอยบาน กลีบดอกเชื่อมกันเป็นหลอด ปลายบานรูปแตร กว้างประมาณ 2 ซม. ดอกสีขาว กลิ่นหอม [3] |
| ดอก : เป็นช่อขนาดใหญ่ ออกที่ปลายกิ่ง กลีบดอกสีขาว เป็นหลอดยาว ปลายแยกเป็น 5 แฉก กลิ่นหอม [1] |
| ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้น มีความสูงประมาณ 5-25 เมตร ลักษณะของลำต้นผิวเปลือกมีสีเทา พื้นผิวเปลือกขรุขระ บริเวณกิ่งก้านมีจุด เป็นช่องอากาศ [5] |
| ต้น : เป็นไม้ต้น เรือนยอดเป็นพุ่มทึบ กิ่งมักห้อยลง เปลือกต้นสีเทาเข้ม-น้ำตาลอ่อน หยุ่นคล้ายไม้ก๊อกสีเทา แตกเป็นร่องลึกไม่เป็นระเบียบ [3] |
| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบทางป่าเบญจพรรณทางภาคตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ของประเทศไทย [6] |
| ผล : เป็นฝัก มีขนาดยาวประมาณ 12-14 นิ้ว กว้างประมาณ 0.5-1 นิ้ว ผลที่แก่เต็มก็จะแตก หรืออ้าออกข้างในก็จะมีเมล็ดเป็นจำนวนมาก [5] |
| ผล : เป็นฝักแบนและตรง กว้าง 1.5-2 เซนติเมตร ยาว 25-30 ซม. แตกเมื่อแห้ง เมล็ดมีเป็นจำนวนมาก มีปีก [3] |
| ใบ : ลักษณะของใบแบบขนนก มีประมาณ 7-9 ใบ ลักษณะของใบเป็นรูปหอก โคนใบมน ส่วนปลายใบแหลม ริมขอบใบมีรอยหยัก ใต้ท้องใบจะเห็นเส้นกลางใบ และต่อมขนได้ชัด ขนาดของใบกว้างประมาณ 0.5-1.2 นิ้ว ยาวประมาณ 1-2.5 นิ้ว [5] |
| ใบ : เป็นประกอบแบบขนนก 2-3 ชั้น เรียงตรงข้าม ใบย่อยรูปไข่แกมใบหอก กว้าง 1.5-2.5 ซม. ยาว 3-5 ซม [1] [3] |
