ดอก : ออกดอกเป็นช่อเล็ก ช่อยาว 2-4 ซม. ดอกมีขนาด 2.5 มม. มีลักษณะกลมเล็ก สีเหลืองอมเขียว เมื่อแก่ส่วนโคนกลีบดอกมีสีแดง [5] [6]

ดอก : มีดอกแซมออกตามข้อต้น ดอกมีขนาดเล็ก [1]

ดอก : ออกตรงข้ามใบ ดอกย่อยขนาดเล็ก กลีบดอกด้านนอกสีเขียวแกมเหลือง โคนกลีบมีแถบสีแดง กลีบด้านในสีขาวแกมเขียว [2] [4]

ต้น : เป็นไม้เลื้อย มีลำต้นเป็นสีเหลี่ยม มีข้อและปล้องชัดเจน ปล้องยาว 6-10 ซม. บางข้ออาจมีมืองอกออกมาด้วย [5] [6]

ต้น : เป็นไม้เลื้อย ลำต้นรูปสี่เหลี่ยมเป็นครีบ ผิวเรียบ มีรอยคอดบริเวณข้อ [2] [4]

ต้น : เป็นไม้เลื้อยชนิดหนึ่ง มีลำต้นเป็นลำเล็กๆ สี่เหลี่ยม แตกเป็นท่อนสั้นๆ บางท่อนมีเส้นยาวๆ เป็นมือหรืองวง สำหรับพันยึดกับสิ่งที่อยู่ใกล้ๆ เมื่อไม้นี้เลื้อยผ่านไป [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในแอฟริกา อาหรับ และอินเดีย [9]

ผล : ค่อนข้างกลมเท่าเมล็ดพริกไทย ขนาด 4-7 มม. ผลมีแดงหรือดำ [1]

ผล : ออกเป็นลูกกลม ๆ เป็นสีม่วงอมแดง หรือสีดำ [5] [6]

ใบ : เป็นสีเขียว ออกตามข้อท่อนสั้น ๆ เป็นไม้ใบเดี่ยว ออกท่อนละหนึ่งใบ ลักษณะของใบคล้ายกับใบตำลึง [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ออกข้อละ 1 ใบ บริเวณปลายเถาตรงข้ามใบมีมือเกาะ รูปสามเหลี่ยมหรือรูปไข่ กว้าง 3-8 ซม. ยาว 4-10 ซม. ขอบใบหยักมน เนื้อใบค่อนข้างหนา [2] [4]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ออกสลับและมักจะอยู่บริเวณส่วนบนของลำต้น ใบรูปไข่หรือสามเหลี่ยม ขอบใบจักเล็กน้อย หรือหยักเว้า 3-5 หยัก ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบรูปหัวใจ ใบมีความกว้างใกล้เคียงกับความยาวขนาด 2.5-8 ซม. [5] [6]
