ดอก : ออกดอกเป็นช่ออยู่ตามปลายกิ่ง หรือตามส่วนยอด ดอกมีสีเหลืองนวล [1]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อกระจุก สีชมพูหรือแดงอ่อน [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ยืนต้นขนาดย่อม จะแตกกิ่งก้านสาขาออกรอบต้น แต่ก็ไม่มากนัก [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่มขนาดใหญ่หรือขนาดกลาง ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 2-3 เมตร [4]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามป่าราบ และมีขึ้นประปรายทั่วไป [7]

ผล : ผลสด รูปทรงกลม สีดำ มีรสฝาดเล็กน้อย [4]

ผล : โตเท่าขนาดเม็ดนุ่น เมื่อยังอ่อนเป็นสีแดง ผลแก่สุกจะเป็นสีม่วงดำ [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว จะออกสลับกันเป็นคู่ ๆ ตามข้อต้น ลักษณะของใบเป็นรูปไข่ ปลายแหลม โคนใบสอบ ขอบใบเรียบไม่มีจัก ใบของพิลังกาสานี้จะหนา และใหญ่ มีสีเขียวเป็นมัน [1]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว เรียงเวียนสลับ รูปรีแกมรูปใบหอก ใบอ่อนสีแดง [4]
