ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ช่อหนึ่งมี 2-5 ดอก ก้านดอกยาว 0.5-1 ซม. มีริ้วประดับเล็ก มีขนแข็งๆ กลีบเลี้ยงเชื่อมติดกันเป็นรูประฆัง บริเวณปากมีขนนุ่ม มีหนามแหลม 5 อัน มีสันตามยาว 10 สัน กลีบดอกเชื่อมติดกันเป็นหลอด ปลายแยกเป็นปาก ปากบนมี 2 หยัก ปากล่างมี 3 หยัก [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นตามป่าดิบ หรือที่รกร้าง [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปขอบขนานแคบ ปลายผลเว้า ผิวมีรอยย่นเด่นชัด [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่หรือรูปไข่กลับ ปลายใบมน หรือค่อนข้างแหลม โคนใบกลม หรือตัด ขอบใบจักเป็นฟันเลื่อย แผ่นใบมีขนทั้ง 2 ด้าน แต่ด้านล่างหนาแน่นกว่า ก้านใบมีขน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก สูง 0.5-1.5 เมตร ลำต้นเป็นสี่เหลี่ยม มีขน แตกกิ่งก้านมาก มีกลิ่นหอมแรง [1]
