| ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อตรงยอด ช่อหนึ่งมีความยาวประมาณ 5-9 ซม. ดอกรวมกันเป็นกลุ่มย่อยๆ กลุ่มละประมาณ 3-5 ดอก ดอกสีขาว กลีบรองกลีบดอกมีประมาณ 5 กลีบ เป็นรูปไข่ตรงปลายมน มีความยาวประมาณ 0.5 มม. ขอบกลีบมีขน กลีบดอก 5 กลีบเป็นรูปหอกตรงปลายของมันแหลม มีความยาวประมาณ 0.5 มม. ส่วนโคนเชื่อมติดกันเป็นท่อ มีความยาวเท่ากับกลีบดอก ภายในปากท่อเกลี้ยง ก้านดอกมีความยาวประมาณ 2-3 มม. | ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้เถาเนื้อแข็ง เปลือกเป็นสีน้ำตาลเกือบดำ มีช่องระบายอากาศ มีลักษณะเป็นจุดสีขาว ๆ ตามลำต้นอ่อนมีขน และภายในมีน้ำยางมาก [1] |
| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามป่าเบญจพรรณ [2] |
| ผล : ออกเป็นฝักคู่ มีความยาวประมาณ 3-4.5 ซม. วัดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางได้ประมาณ 6-7 มม. เมื่อผลแก่จัดแตกออกเป็น 2 ซีก [1] |
| เกสร : เกสรตัวผู้มีอยู่ประมาณ 5 อัน ติดอยู่ด้านในตรงโคนท่อดอก ก้านเกสรแบน และสั้นมาก มีอับเรณูเป็นรูปขอบขนาน และตรงปลายแหลมเป็นติ่ง โคนเว้าเป็นรูปหัวลูกศร อับเรณูทั้ง 5 นั้น ติดกันและติดกับปลายเกสรตัวเมีย ส่วนเกสรตัวเมียมีอยู่ประมาณ 2 ช่อง แยกออกจากกัน และท่อเกสรตัวเมียสั้น [1] |
| ใบ : มีความกว้างประมาณ 3.5-5 ซม. และยาวประมาณ 5-14 ซม. ลักษณะของใบเป็นรูปรี ตรงปลาย เป็นติ่งแหลมสั้นๆ หรือเรียวและแหลม ส่วนโคนใบนั้นกลมหรือเว้าเป็นรูปหัวใจ เนื้อใบหนาและแข็ง คล้ายกับแผ่นหนัง มีเส้นใบประมาณ 10-13 คู่ ก้านใบมีความยาวประมาณ 3.5 มม. [1] |
