ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อแบบ raceme ดอกย่อยไม่สมบูรณ์เพศ มีกลีบดอก 6 กลีบ สีเหลืองอ่อน กลีบดอกกว้าง 0.2-0.3 มม.ยาว 0.5-1.5 มม. ดอกเพศผู้ มีเกสรเพศผู้ 6 อัน ก้านชูอับเรณูสีขาว อับเรณูสีเหลืองอ่อน ดอกเพศเมีย มีเกสรเพศเมีย 1 อัน รังไข่แบบ superior ovary [1] [2] [3]

ต้น : เป็นไม้เถาวัลย์ มีเนื้อไม้ เขียวตลอดปี เปลือกเถาชั้นนอกมีปุ่มปมกระจายห่างๆ เปลือกมีต่อมน้ำยางใสรสขม ลำต้นสร้างรากอากาศลักษณะยาวตรง [1] [2] [3]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามที่รกร้างทั่วไป [6]

ผล : ผลสดแบบ drupe เนื้อผลค่อนข้างบาง สีเหลืองส้ม รูปร่างผลกลมรี ขนาด 1-1.5 ซม. [3]

ใบ : ใบกลมโต มีขนาดเท่ากับใบบอระเพ็ด และใบกระทุงหมาบ้า ใบเดี่ยว เรียงตัวแบบสลับ ใบรูปหัวใจ ขอบเรียบ ปลายแหลม ฐานใบเว้าเป็นรูปหัวใจ ใบกว้าง 4-7 ซม. ยาว 10-12 ซม. ผิวใบเรียบและค่อนข้างอวบน้ำ [1] [2] [3]
