ดอก : ออกประมาณเดือนพฤษภาคม มีขนาดเล็กสีขาวคล้ายดอกมะขามเทศ [2]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อสีขาว และมีกลิ่นหอม [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่มขนาดกลาง ตามลำต้นและกิ่งก้านมีหนามแหลม [1]

ต้น : ไม้ยืนต้นขนาดกลาง ลำต้นค่อนข้างตรง มีหนามแหลมคม จำนวน 1 คู่ สองข้างใบแต่ละชุด เปลือกของต้นมีสีน้ำตาลซีดแกมดำ มีรอยแตก กว้างและลึกตามแนวลำต้น [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในจังหวัดสระบุรี และภาคตะวันออก ตามป่าชายทะเล ตั้งแต่ศรีราชาตลอดไป เป็นพรรณไม้ที่ชอบขึ้นตามป่าราบ และที่รกร้างทั่ว ๆ ไป จะขึ้นเป็นหมู่ ๆ ในระยะที่ไม่ไกลกันมากนัก [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามป่าละเมาะและป่าเบญจพรรณ ซึ่งมีพื้นที่ค่อนข้างราบมีความลาดชันประมาณ 1-3 เปอร์เซ็นต์ มีความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล 20-30 เมตร [2]

ผล : ผลเล็กค่อนข้างกลมน้อย เป็นสีเหลือง [1]

ผล : มีสัณฐานกลม เกือบเท่าขนาดของผลมะเขือพวง [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบแบบสามใบ แต่ต่อกันเป็นสามชั้นคล้ายจิ้งจกห้อยหัวลง และทาบติดต่อกัน แต่ละใบย่อยมีความกว้าง 1-1.5 เซนติเมตร ยาว 2.2.5 เซนติเมตร ขอบใบหยักแต่ละชุดของใบประกอบแบบสามชั้นยาว 9-12 เซนติเมตร [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบรวม และหนาทึบพอเป็นไม้ร่มได้ ส่วนก้านใบจะมีครีบเล็ก ๆ ใบย่อยถ้าส่องดูจะมีจุดของต่อมน้ำมัน [1]
