ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ช่อดอกเป็นแท่ง ดอกเพศผู้อยู่ตอนบน ดอกเพศเมียอยู่ตอนล่าง คั่นกลางด้วยดอกไม่มีเพศ มีกาบหุ้มดอกสีเหลือง [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นสั้น มีหัวใต้ดิน [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ชอบขึ้นในที่ชื้น [1]

ผล : เป็นผลสด รูปขอบขนาน [1]

ใบ : เป็นรูปไข่แกมรูปหัวใจ ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบเว้าลึกเป็นรูปสามเหลี่ยม ขอบใบเรียบ ก้านใบยาว 30-100 ซม. ติดกับแผ่นใบแบบก้านร่ม [1]
