ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ดอกย่อยมีจำนวนมากมีสีส้ม [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก สูงประมาณ 1 เมตร ผิวต้นเกลี้ยง [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในทวีปเอเชีย [1]

ผล : เป็นผลแห้ง รูปไข่กลับ สีขาวงาช้าง ปลายตัดมีสัน 4 สัน และมีระยางค์ยาวประมาณ 5 มม. [1]

ใบ : ที่ขอบใบมีหนาม ปลายใบแหลม มีขนทั้ง 2 ด้านของใบ เห็นเส้นใบชัดเจน [1]
