ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว ดอกสีเขียวอมเหลืองลายม่วง กลีบดอกเชื่อมกันเป็นท่อ ปลายกลีบแยกเป็น 5 แฉก กลางดอกมีเกสรสั้น 2 อัน ยาว 2 อัน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น แตกกิ่งแผ่กว้าง [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในอเมริกาเขตร้อน [1]

ผล : ผลกลมโต ผิวเกลี้ยงและแข็ง ภายในมีเนื้อและเมล็ดแบนๆ [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ออกตามข้อของกิ่ง โคนใบสอบเข้าหาก้าน ปลายใบมนหรือแหลมเล็กน้อย [1]
