ดอก : เป็นกระจุกประมาณ 2-3 ดอก ลักษณะของดอกกลีบมีสีส้ม หรือสีอิฐ ขนาดของดอกยาวประมาณ 2 ซม. ดอกออกระหว่างบริเวณต้นกับใบ [1]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้พุ่มขนาดเล็ก มีความสูงประมาณ 2-3 เมตร เปลือกของลำต้นมียางเหนียว และทุกส่วนของลำต้น มีขนขึ้นทั่ว ๆ ไป [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามป่าเบญจพรรณทั่วไป [2]

ผล : มีลักษณะเป็นรูปฝัก บิดเหมือนเชือกควั่น มีขนาดยาวประมาณ 1-1.5 นิ้ว ผลเมื่อแก่เต็มที่มีเป็นสีน้ำตาล หรือสีดำ และผลนั้นก็จะแตกอ้าออก ผลออกประมาณเดือนธันวาคม-มกราคม [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ลักษณะค่อนข้างใหญ่ โคนใบเว้าเข้าหากัน ริมของใบหยักเป็นแบบฟันปลา ใบมีขนาดกว้างประมาณ 2.5-3.5 นิ้ว ยาวประมาณ 4-8 นิ้ว หลังใบและใต้ท้องใบมีขนขึ้นประปราย [1]
