ดอก : กลีบดอกรูปหอก หรือรูปขอบขนานแคบ มีขนสีน้ำตาลปนเหลือง หรือสีสนิมเหล็ก [2]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ตรงปลายยอด ช่อดอกนั้นจะมีความยาวประมาณ 35 ซม. และจะมีขน เป็นสีน้ำตาลปนเหลือง หรือสีสนิมเหล็ก ส่วนกลีบรองกลีบดอกนั้นจะมีอยูประมาณ 5 กลีบ มีลักษณะเป็นรูปไข่ หรือรูปรี ตรงปลายนั้นทู่ หรือแหลม ด้านนอกจะมีขนนุ่ม ส่วนด้านในนั้นจะเกลี้ยง และกลีบดอกจะมีลักษณะเป็นรูปหอก หรือรูปขอบขนานแคบด้านนอกจะเกลี้ยง แต่ตรงขอบและตรงปลายนั้น มักมีต่อม [1]

ดอก : เป็นช่อที่ปลายกิ่ง ช่อดอกสีขาวอมแดง ออกดอกเดือนพฤษภาคม-กรกฎาคม [3]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้เถา หรือพรรณไม้พุ่มเลื้อย กิ่งก้านที่อ่อนมีขน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้เถาเลื้อยเนื้อแข็งขนาดเล็กถึงใหญ่ พาดพันต้นไม้อื่น เถาสีน้ำตาลแดง ผิวเปลือกเป็นตุ่มเล็กๆทั่วทั้งเถา [3]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามป่าดงดิบ ป่าผลัดใบ ตามริมฝั่งแม่น้ำ ป่าละเมาะ ป่าแพะ [5]

ผล : ผลแห้งแตกได้ เมื่อสุกสีส้ม เมล็ดสีดำมีเยื่อหุ้มสีเหลืองเข้ม ออกผลเดือนสิงหาคม-ตุลาคม [3]

ผล : มีลักษณะเปลือกบาง ด้านนอกจะเกลี้ยง ส่วนด้านในจะมีขนนุ่ม และโคนมัน สอบเข้าหาก้าน ผลแก่จัดจะปริแยกออกจากกันทางด้านข้าง ผลโตประมาณ 1-2 ซม. และยาวประมาณ 1.5-3.5 ซม. มีก้านยาวประมาณ 5-15 มม. ภายในมีเมล็ด 1 เมล็ด ตรงโคนมีเนื้อสีเหลืองหุ้ม [1]

ผล : เปลือกบาง ด้านนอกเกลี้ยง ด้านในมีขนนุ่ม เมล็ดมี 1 เมล็ด [2]

เกสร : เกสรตัวผู้จะมีอยู่ประมาณ 10 อัน สั้น 5 อัน ยาว 5 อัน ส่วนรังไข่มีประมาณ 5 ช่อง และมีขนนุ่มหนาแน่น [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบ และมีใบย่อยประมาณ 3-7 ใบ ลักษณะของใบนั้น เป็นรูปรี หรือรูปหอก ตรงปลายใบจะทู่หรือเรียวแหลม ส่วนโคนใบนั้นจะสอบแคบ หรือมน ขอบใบจะเรียบ เนื้อใบนั้นค่อนข้างหนาและมันคล้ายแผ่นหนังใบจะมีความยาวประมาณ 4-25 ซม. และกว้างประมาณ 2-9 ซม. เส้นใบจะมีประมาณ 4-12 คู่ [1]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยวรูปหอก รูปวงรี สีเขียวเรียงสลับ [3]
