ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ มีใบประดับรูปรี หรือกลมรี มีขน มีกลีบรองดอก 4 กลีบ ใหญ่ 2 กลีบ เล็ก 2 กลีบ มีกลีบดอก 5 กลีบ โคนดอกเป็นหลอดยาว 2.5-3.5 ซม. ปลายแยกเป็น 5 กลีบ มีเกสรเพศผู้ 4 อัน สั้น 2 อัน ยาว 2 อัน [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นในป่าดงดิบ ป่าเต็งรัง ป่าไผ่ [1]

ผล : เป็นฝักเกลี้ยง มีเมล็ด 4 เมล็ด [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปรี หรือรูปรีค่อนข้างยาว ปลายใบแหลมเป็นติ่ง โคนใบเรียวแหลม ขอบใบมีหนาม แผ่นใบด้านล่างมีขน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่ม สูง 60-120 ซม. กิ่งก้านมีขนสีน้ำตาล [1]
