| ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ดอกมีสีขาว ชมพู ม่วงเข้ม หรือเกือบดำ ดอกแยกเพศอยู่บนต้นเดียวกัน ดอกเพศผู้ มีกลีบรองดอก 5 กลีบ เป็นรูปไข่กลับ มีกลีบดอก 5 กลีบ เป็นรูปไข่กลับ มีเกสรเพศผู้ 3 อัน อับเรณูกลม ดอกเพศเมีย มีกลีบรองดอก 5 กลีบ รูปไข่ปลายมน กลีบดอกเป็นรูปไข่ ท่อรังไข่มี 3 อัน [1] |
| ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่ม สูง 0.5-1.5 เมตร มีขนปกคลุมหนาแน่น [1] |
| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นในป่าสัก และป่าเบญจพรรณแล้ง [1] |
| ผล : มี 3 พู มีขนปกคลุมหนาแน่น ก้านผลยาวประมาณ 15 มม. มีเมล็ดเป็นรูปค่อนข้างกลม ผิวเรียบ สีออกเหลือง [1] |
| ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปขอบขนาน ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบกลม ขอบใบเรียบ แผ่นใบมีขนปกคลุมทั้ง 2 ด้าน ด้านล่างขนยาวและหนานุ่มกว่าด้านบน [1] |
