ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว ออกตามซอกใบใกล้ปลายกิ่ง ใบประดับ 3 ใบ รูปสามเหลี่ยมซ้อนกัน กลีบเลี้ยง 5 กลีบ เชื่อมกันเป็นรูปถ้วย กลีบดอก 5 กลีบ มีสีแดงเข้ม หรือสีเหลืองอ่อน กลางดอกสีม่วงแดง [1] [2]

ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว ออกตามบริเวณปลายกิ่ง ดอกมีสีแดงสดและตรงกลางดอกจะเป็นสีม่วงอมดำประแต้มด้วยสีเหลือง กลีบดอกออกซ้อนๆ กัน [3] [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้พุ่มขนาดกลาง แตกกิ่งก้านสาขาออกไปรอบรอบต้น มีกิ่งก้านที่แข็งแรง ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 4-5 ฟุต [3] [4]

ผล : เป็นผลกลม หัวท้ายแหลม เมื่อแก่แตกได้ เมล็ดค่อนข้างกลมสีเขียว จำนวนมาก คลุมด้วยขนยาวสีขาว [1] [2]

เกสร : เกสรตัวผู้มีจำนวนมาก ก้านเกสรเชื่อมกันเป็นหลอดล้อมรอบเกสรตัวเมีย ปลายเกสรตัวเมียแยกเป็น 5 แฉก [1] [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ใบแยกออกเป็น 4-5 แฉก ปลายใบแหลม ริมขอบใบเรียบ ขนาดของใบโตเท่ากับใบตำลึง ใต้ท้องใบเห็นเส้นใบได้ชัด ใบและก้านใบเป็นสีแดง [3] [4]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยวออกเวียนสลับ รูปไข่หรือค่อนข้างกลม กว้าง 4-5 เซนติเมตร ยาว 5-7 เซนติเมตร ขอบหยักลึก 3-7 แฉก ปลายแหลมหรือมน โคนเว้า ก้านใบและเส้นใบสีแดงคล้ำ [1] [2]
