ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ช่อดอกเพศผู้ เป็นรูปกระบองแกมทรงกระบอก ช่อดอกเพศเมีย ปลายวงกลีบรวมเป็นรูปกรวย มีขนนุ่มสั้น ยอดเกสรแยกเป็น 2 ก้าน [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปกลม หรือรี มีสีเขียวอมเหลือง เหลืองแก่ หรือสีเขียว มีหนามเป็นรูปปิรามิด เมล็ดเป็นรูปรีแบน [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปรี กว้าง 25-65 ซม. ยาว 30-100 ซม. โคนสอบกว้าง ขอบใบจักข้างละ 3-7 พู รูปขอบขนาน ปลายเรียวแหลม เนื้อใบหนา ก้านใบยาว 2-4 ซม. [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ต้น สูง 10-20 ม. กิ่งก้านใหญ่ มีขนราบ [1]
