| ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว สีเหลืองอมส้ม ก้านดอกยาว 2.5-3 ซม. กลีบเลี้ยงมีสีเขียวอ่อน โคนเชื่อมติดกัน ปลายแยกเป็น 2 แฉก เป็นรูปไข่ ปลายแหลม กลีบดอกเป็นรูปไข่กลับ ปลายกลีบกลม ด้านนอกมีขนละเอียด มีเกสรตัวผู้จำนวนมาก โคนติดกันเป็นหลอดรูปกรวย มีขนรูปดาว รังไข่อยู่เหนือวงกลีบ อยู่ในหลอดเกสรตัวผู้ เป็นรูปทรงกระบอก ก้านเกสรตัวเมียมี 5 แขนง ยอดเกสรตัวเมียมี 5 อัน เป็นตุ่มกลม [1]

| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นตามป่าโปร่ง ชาบป่าดิบ และตามข้างถนน [1] |
| ผล : เป็นผลแห้งแล้วแตก ผลแก่จะแยกเป็น 5 ซีก ปลายเรียวแหลม มีขนรูปดาว มีเมล็ดเป็นรูปไต ที่ผิวมีจุดสีขาวใส [1]

| ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่กว้าง ปลายเรียวแหลม โคนใบเป็นรูปหัวใจ ขอบใบจักมน แผ่นใบด้านบนมีขนหยาบ ด้านล่างมีขนรูปดาวคละกับขนยาวธรรมดา ก้านใบยาว 1-8 ซม. มีขนรูปดาวคละกับขนธรรมดา มีหูใบเป็นรูปลิ่ม ยาว 2 มม. [1]

| ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่ม ลำต้นตรง มีขนรูปดาวและขนธรรมดาคละกัน [1]
