| ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว มีกลีบเลี้ยง 5 กลีบ เชื่อมติดกับรังไข่ ด้านนอกกลีบเลี้ยงมีขนนุ่ม มีกลีบดอกสีขาว 5 กลีบ โคนกลีบมีสีเหลืองเข้ม ปลายกลีบหยกเว้า [1]

| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นบริเวณที่ชื้นแฉะ ในนาข้าว ตามคันนา [1] |
| ผล : เป็นรูปทรงกระบอก ยาว 2-4 ซม. ปลายเป็นก้อนมีลายหยักตื้นๆ 5 รอย [1]

| ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่กลับ ปลายใบกลมมน โคนใบเรียวสอบ ขอบใบเรียบ แผ่นใบด้านบนมีสีเขียวเข้มเป็นมัน มีขนปกคลุมทั้ง 2 ด้าน [1]

| ต้น : ลำต้นทอดนอนไปตามพื้นดินที่ชื้นแฉะ หรือลอยอยู่ในน้ำ มีรากออกตามข้อ รากและลำต้นมีเนื้อเยื่อคล้ายฟองน้ำสีขาว ทำให้ลอยน้ำได้ [1]
