ดอก : ดอกมีขนาดเล็ก มีสีเหลืองสด ออกเป็นช่อที่ปลายยอด มีก้านยาว 3-10 ซม.แต่ละช่อมีดอกย่อยเป็นกลุ่ม รูปทรงเป็นหลอด มีโคนกลีบเชื่อมติดกัน [1]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ โคนกลีบเลี้ยงเชื่อมติดกันเป็นหลอดสีเขียวอ่อน กลีบดอกสีเหลืองมีขีดแดงตามยาว [3]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก มีลำต้นขนาดเล็ก ซึ่งอยู่ประเภทเดียวกับต้นหญ้า ลำต้นตรงเป็นปล้องข้อ มีสีแดงเรื่อ สูงประมาณ 10-15 ซม. มีขนาดเท่ากับก้านไม้ขีดไฟ [1]

ต้น : ไม้ล้มลุกขนาดเล็ก มีอายุเพียงปีเดียว ลำต้นตรง เปลือกต้นสีน้ำตาลแดง สูง 10-20 ซม. [2]

ต้น : ไม้ล้มลุกฤดูเดียว ลำต้นตั้งตรง สีน้ำตาลแดง ไม่แตกกิ่งก้าน มีขนละเอียด [3]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นทั่วไป ในสภาพดินชื้น แพร่กระจายในแหล่งปลูกพืชยืนต้นและที่รกร้างว่างเปล่า [4]

ผล : เป็นทรงกระสวย เปลือกแห้งแตกได้ [2]

ผล : เป็นผลแห้งแตกได้ รูปกระสวย มีสีเขียวอ่อน [3]

ใบ : มีขนาดเล็กฝอยเหมือนกับใบกระถิน ก้านใบแผ่แบน รวมกันอยู่บนยอด [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบแบบขนนก ออกเวียนสลับรอบต้น ออกกระจุกที่ปลายยอด ใบยาว 6-11 ซม. มี 8-12 คู่ [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบแบบขนนก เรียงสลับเวียนรอบต้น เป็นกระจุกที่ปลายยอด ใบย่อย 8-12 คู่ รูปคล้ายโล่ รูปขอบขนานหรือไข่กลับ [3]
