ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ เป็นแท่งยาว มีกาบหุ้มช่อดอก ดอกแยกเพศอยู่ในช่อเดียวกัน ดอกย่อยมีสีเขียวแล้วเปลี่ยนเป็นสีเหลือง [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นสั้น สีม่วงปนน้ำตาล มีหัวอยู่ใต้ดิน [1]

ผล : เป็นผลมีเนื้อ รูปทรงกลม ขนาดเล็ก มีสีแดง [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่ โคนใบเว้าลึก ปลายใบเป็นติ่งแหลม ขอบใบเป็นคลื่นห่างๆ หลังใบเรียบ มีสีเขียวเป็นมัน ท้องใบเรียบ เส้นใบสีม่วงปนดำ ก้านใบมีสีม่วงปนน้ำตาลอมดำ [1]
