ดอก : มีลักษณะเหมือนดอกผักกะเฉด แต่มีสีแดง [1]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อกลม ที่ซอกใบ ดอกเป็นรูปหลอด มีสีชมพู [2]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ขนาดเล็ก สูงประมาณ 1 ฟุต ลำต้นเป็นสีแดง มีขนและหนามทั้งต้น [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก เลื้อยทอดไปตามพื้น ลำต้นมีสีน้ำตาลปนม่วง มีหนามและขนยาวสีน้ำตาล [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มักขึ้นตามที่รกร้างทั่วไป [1]

ผล : เป็นฝักแบน คอดเป็นข้อๆ มีขนแข็งคล้ายหนาม [2]

ใบ : มีลักษณะคล้ายใบผักกะเฉด [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบแบบขนนก 2 ชั้น ใบย่อยเป็นรูปหอก ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบมน ผิวใบด้านล่างเป็นสีม่วงอ่อน [2]
