ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ ช่อหนึ่งมี 1-5 ดอก ดอกเป็นรูปถ้วย ปลายดอกแยกเป็น 5 กลีบ ยาว 1-1.5 นิ้ว กลีบด้านนอกเป็นสีขาวนวลและมีขน ด้านในเป็นสีเหลือง กลางดอกมีเกสร 5 เส้น [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น มีลำต้นสูงใหญ่ ยอดแผ่พุ่มกว้าง ลำต้นมีหนามขึ้นอยู่ทั่ว ลำต้นเป็นสีเขียว สูงประมาณ 10-30 เมตร [1]

ถิ่นกำเนิด : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในแถบอันดามัน และมีปลูกอยู่ทั่วไปในเขตร้อน [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปยาวรี ปลายและโคนผลแหลม ขนาดผลกว้างประมาณ 2 นิ้ว ยาว 4-5 นิ้ว ภายในผลมีนุ่นสีขาวเป็นปุย เมล็ดมีสีดำ มีจำนวนมาก [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบ มีลักษณะคล้ายรูปนิ้วมือ มีใบย่อย 5-11 ใบ ใบย่อยมีลักษณะตรงปลาย รูปหอกเรียวแหลม ขอบเรียบ โคนใบเรียวแหลม มีสีเขียว กว้างประมาณ 1-1.5 นิ้ว ยาว 2-5 นิ้ว มีก้านใบและเส้นใบเป็นสีแดงอมน้ำตาล [1]
