ดอก : ออกตรงง่ามใบเป็นกลุ่ม 1-3 ดอก มีกลีบดอก 5 กลีบ สีขาว [1]

ดอก : เป็นดอกเดี่ยว ออกตามซอกใบและปลายกิ่ง ดอกสีขาว โคนเชื่อมติดกัน ปลายแยกเป็น 5 แฉก [2]

ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่มขนาดเล็ก สูงประมาณ 45-75 ซม. [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก แตกกิ่งเป็นพุ่มกลม กิ่งอ่อนเป็นสี่เหลียม [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในแถบอเมริกาเขตร้อน [1]

ผล : ผลกลมยาว ปลายเรียว ผิวเรียบมัน ผลอ่อนสีเขียว เมื่อแก่เปลี่ยนเป็นสีส้มหรือแดง รสเผ็ด [2]

ผล : ผลมีผิวลื่นเป็นมัน ผลสุกจะเป็นสีแดง ภายในผลกลวง มีแกนกลางให้เมล็ดเกาะ [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่ ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบสอบ เนื้อใบเขียวสด [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ใบรูปกลมรี ปลายใบแหลม [1]
