ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ อัดแน่นกันเป็นแท่ง รูปทรงกระบอก สีเขียว [2]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ เป็นแท่งทรงกระบอกสีเหลืองออกเขียว ดอกย่อยอยู่ติดกันแน่น ดอกเพศผู้อยู่ด้านบนช่อ มีสีขาว ดอกเพศเมียอยู่ด้านล่าง [1]

ต้น : มีเหง้าเจริญยาวขนานกับผิวดิน ลักษณะกลมหนา[1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุกเนื้ออ่อน มีเหง้าอยู่ใต้ดิน รูปทรงกระบอกค่อนข้างแบน ภายนอกมีสีน้ำตาลอ่อน [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบขึ้นบริเวณริมหนองน้ำ หรือที่ชื้นแฉะ [1]

ผล : ผลสุกจะมีสีแดง [1]

ผล : เป็นผลสด ภายในมีเมล็ด [2]

ใบ : รูปยาวรี ใยตั้งตรง เส้นใบขนานตามความยาวของใบ มีสีเขียวเข้ม ค่อนข้างฉ่ำน้ำ [2]

ใบ : เป็นเส้นตรงยาว ปลายใบแหลม เส้นกลางใบมองเห็นชัด ผิวใบเรียบ ใบแตกออกมาจากเหง้า [1]
