ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อ เกิดภายในฐานรองดอก รูปร่างคล้ายผล ออกที่ลำต้น และกิ่ง แยกเพศในช่อเดียวกัน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น สูงถึง 30 เมตร มีน้ำยางขาวตามกิ่งอ่อน [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นทั่วไปตามริมน้ำ ในที่ราบ [2]

ผล : ผลสด รูปไข่แกมสามเหลี่ยม เมื่อสุกมีสีแดงแกมชมพู [1]

เมล็ด : มีขนาดเล็กจำนวนมาก [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปรี หรือรูปไข่ ขอบใบขนาน [1]
