ดอก : ออกเดี่ยว หรือออกหลายดอกอยู่รวมกัน กลีบดอกมี 5 กลีบ กลีบบนรูปกลม ปลายเว้าเข้าเล็กน้อย กลีบข้าง 2 กลีบกว้าง กลีบล่างงอเป็นกระเปาะ มีจงอยยื่นออกมาเป็นหลอดเล็กๆ มีกลีบรองดอก 3 กลีบ ดอกมีหลายสี เช่น ขาว ชมพู แดง ม่วง หรือหลายสีผสมกัน [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นสีเขียวอ่อน เนื้อใสอุ้มน้ำ [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นอวบน้ำ สูงประมาณ 1-1.5 ฟุต [2]

ผล : รูปรี ปลายแหลมยาว เมื่อแก่จะแตกดีดเมล็ดออก [2]

ผล : เป็นรูปไข่ หรือรูปรี มีขนสีขาวปกคลุม เมื่อแก่จะแตกเป็นริ้วๆ ตามความยาวของผล [1]

เมล็ด : รูปกลม มีสีน้ำตาล [1]

เมล็ด : รูปร่างกลม [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปเรียวยาว โคนใบและปลายใบเรียวแหลม ขอบใบหยักลึกแบบฟันเลื่อย ก้านใบสั้น เรียงสลับวนรอบลำต้น [1]

ใบ : ใบรูปเรียวรี โคนใบมน ปลายใบเรียวแหลม ขอบใบหยักเป็นฟันเลื้อย เนื้อใบสาก [2]
