ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อใหญ่ ขนาดประมาณ 2-4 นิ้ว ช่อดอกจะบิดเป็นจีบม้วนไปมาในช่อคล้ายหงอนไก่ ดอกมีหลายสี เช่น แดง ชมพู ขาว เหลือง [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่มขนาดเล็ก แตกกิ่งไม่มาก สูงประมาณ 20 นิ้ว [1]

ผล : เป็นรูปทรงกลม ภายในมีเมล็ดหลายเมล็ด เมล็ดเป็นรูปกลมแบน เปลือกนอกสีดำแข็ง เป็นมัน [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว ออกรวมกันเป็นกลุ่มตามข้อลำต้น ใบยาวประมาณ 8-10 ซม. ใบมีสีเขียวรูปมนรี ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบสอบ ขอบใบเรียบ [1]
