ดอก : ดอกเป็นช่อ มีลักษณะคล้ายซี่ร่ม ตรงยอดดอกแผ่เป็นรัศมี ดอกมีขนาดเล็ก เป็นดอกสมบูรณ์เพศ [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก มีอายุประมาณ 1-2 ปี มีกลิ่นหอมทั้งต้น ลำต้นกลวง มีความสูงประมาณ 30-50 ซม. [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่ในเขตอบอุ่น [1]

ผล : มีลักษณะกลมรี ขนาดเล็กมีสีน้ำตาล และมีกลิ่นหอม [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบ มีใบย่อย 2-3 คู่ ขอบใบหยัก เป็นแฉกลึก แต่ละแฉกเป็นรูปสามเหลี่ยม หรือห้าเหลี่ยม [1]
