ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อตามปลายยอดและซอกใบ ก้านดอกมีขนยาว ดอกเล็กมี 5 กลีบ มีสีเขียว มีหนามสีแดง 2 อันรองดอก [2]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อยาว ตรงปลายกิ่ง ดอกติดอยู่บนก้านดอกร่วม กลีบเลี้ยงแหลมและแข็งมี 2 กลีบ ช่อดอกจะยาว 10-50 ซม. [1]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ที่มีอายุ 1-2 ปี ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 0.5-2 เมตร แตกกิ่งจำนวนมาก กิ่งก้านจะกลม มีข้อเป็นสีม่วงแดงพอกออกเล็กน้อย ก้านอ่อนเป็นสีเขียว หรือสีแดงมีขนสั้นๆ เป็นสีขาว [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ล้มลุก แตกกิ่งก้านใกล้โคน [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : ขึ้นตามที่รกร้าง ขึ้นเป็นทุ่ง ตามทุ่งหญ้า [1]

เกสร : เกสรตัวผู้มี 5 อัน ก้านเกสรเป็นสีม่วงแดง เกสรตัวเมียมี 1 อัน เป็นเส้นกลม ยาวประมาณ 3 มม. [1]

เมล็ด : เป็นรูปไข่ ยาวประมาณ 2-3 มม. [1]

ใบ : เป็นรูปไข่ค่อนข้างกลม เรียงตรงข้ามกัน ปลายใบแหลมเรียวแหลม ฐานใบเรียวแหลม มีขนทั้ง 2 ด้าน ใบยาวประมาณ 3-10 ซม. กว้าง 1-4 ซม. [1]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว ออกตรงข้ามกัน ใบรูปไข่ รูปรี หรือรูปไข่ขอบขนาน มีขนปกคลุม [2]
