ดอก : ออกเป็นช่ออยู่ที่ปลายยอดตรงซอกใบ กลีบเลี้ยงเป็นรูประฆัง และมีกลีบดอก 4 กลีบ มีสีเหลืองอับละอองเรณู 4 อัน [3]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อแยกแขนงตามซอกใบ หรือปลายกิ่ง ยาวได้ประมาณ 25 ซม. ดอกสีเหลืองอมเขียว ดอกเพศผู้เกือบไร้ก้าน ออกหนาแน่น กลีบเลี้ยงแฉกลึกประมาณ 0.2 ซม. กลีบดอกยาวกว่าเล็กน้อย เกสรเพศผู้ยื่นเลยกลีบดอก ดอกเพศเมียเล็กกว่าดอกเพศผู้เล็กน้อย แต่ก้านดอกยาวได้ประมาณ 0.8 ซม. เกสรเพศผู้ที่เป็นหมันสั้นกว่ากลีบดอก [2]

ต้น : เป็นไม้พุ่มสูง 1.5–2.5 เมตร ลําต้นแตกกิ่งก้านมากห้อยลู่ลง ปลายกิ่งสัมผัสพื้นดิน มีหนามแหลมตามซอกใบ 2 อันยาว 0.5-1 เซนติเมตร [3]

ต้น : ไม้พุ่ม กิ่งมักห้อยลง ยาว 2-4 ม. มีหนามแหลมคม 1-2 อัน ตามซอกใบ หนามยาว 1-1.5 ซม. หูใบ 2 อัน รูปลิ่มแคบ ขนาดเล็ก [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามริมน้ำ ที่ลุ่มชื้นแฉะ แนวป่าละเมาะชายทะเลทั่วไป [1]

ผล : กลมสีเขียว เมื่อแก่จะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีขาว ภายในมีเมล็ด 2-3 เมล็ด [1]

ผล : ผลกลม สีขาว เส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 0.5-0.6 ซม. [2]

ผล : ผลมีเมล็ดแข็ง เมล็ดมี 1 เมล็ดใน 1 ผล เป็นรูปทรงกลมแข็ง [3]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยวเรียงตรงข้าม รูปวงรี หรือรูปไข่ กว้าง 2-4 เซนติเมตรยาว 4-8 เซนติเมตร เนื้อใบหนา สีเขียวสดและเป็นมัน [3]

ใบ : ใบรูปรี รูปไข่หรือกลม ยาว 2-6 ซม. ปลายใบแหลมหรือคล้ายหนาม ยาว 0.1-0.2 ซม. แผ่นใบด้านบนเป็นมันเงา เส้นกลางใบนูนชัดทั้งสองด้าน ก้านใบยาว 0.2-0.8 ซม. [2]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยวออกตรงข้าม เนื้อใบหนา สีเขียวสดเป็นมัน ตัวใบมีรูปร่างหลายแบบ ที่โคนใบมีหนามแหลมเรียวยาว 2 อัน ดอกออกเป็นช่อ แตกเรียงกันหลายชั้น [1]
