| ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อกลมๆ อยู่ตามง่ามใบ ช่อดอกยาว 0.5-1 ซม. ไม่มีก้านดอก แต่เมื่อดอกร่วงโรยไป จะดูเหมือนกับมีก้านดอก ดอกสีขาวหรือม่วงแดง มี 5 กลีบในแต่ละดอกมีใบประดับเป็นเยื่อบางๆ สีขาว 2 อัน [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] |
| ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ล้มลุก มีลำต้นตั้งตรง หรืออาจจะเลื้อยก็แล้วแต่สภาพสิ่งแวดล้อม ตามข้อของต้นจะมีรากขึ้น ลำต้นสูงประมาณ 0.5-3 ฟุตมีทั้งสีแดง สีขาวอมเขียว [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] |
| ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามที่รกร้างทั่วไป จัดเป็นวัชพืชชนิดหนึ่ง [8] |
| ผล : มีรูปร่างคล้ายรูปไต แต่จะมีขนาดเล็กมากจะกว้างอยู่ประมาณ 2 มม. ยาว 3 มม. ซึ่งผลนี้จะร่วงโรยพร้อมกับกลีบดอก [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] |
| ใบ : ออกใบเดี่ยว จะออกตามข้อของต้น ซึ่งลักษณะของใบและขนาดของใบนั้นจะไม่เหมือนกันและไม่เท่ากัน มันจะขึ้นอยู่กับสภาพดินด้วย จะมีทั้งแบบใบแคบ ยาว เรียวแหลม ปลายแหลม ปลายมน และไข่กลับ ถ้าดินที่ปลูกแห้งแล้งใบก็จะเล็ก ถ้าแฉะหน่อยใบก็จะใหญ่สมบูรณ์ ใบมีสีเขียว ก้านใบสั้นมาก ประมาณ 1-5 มม.
