ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อที่ซอกใบ รูปกรวยคว่ำ สีเหลืองอ่อน [1]

ดอก : เป็นรูปไข่ ซึ่งภายในรูปไข่นี้จะมีดอกอัดอยู่กันแน่นจะอยู่ในลักษณะเป็นช่อ หรือดอกเดี่ยว ๆ ดอกยาวประมาณ 6 มม. ผิวเกลี้ยง กลีบดอกเป็นรูปท่อปลายแยกเป็น 4-5 แฉก ก้านดอกยาว 1-6 นิ้ว [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ล้มลุก ที่แตกกิ่งก้านสาขาและลำต้นตั้งตรงซึ่งมีความสูงประมาณ 1-2 ฟุต จะมีอายุหนึ่งปี [4]

ต้น : ไม้ล้มลุก สูง 30-40 ซม. ลำต้นค่อนข้างกลม อวบน้ำ อาจมีสีม่วงแดง ต้นทอดเลื้อยไปตามพื้นดิน [1]

ถิ่นที่พบ : พบตามที่รกร้างทั่วไปและที่ราบโล่งแจ้ง [5]

ผล : ผลแห้ง รูปไข่ [1]

ผล : ลักษณะของผลจะเป็นสัน ซึ่งผลหนึ่งมีอยู่ 3 สัน มีระยางค์เป็นหนาม 1-2 อัน ปลายผลเว้าเป็นแอ่งเล็กน้อย ผลนี้จะแห้ง [4]

ใบ : ออกใบเดี่ยว สีเขียว ลักษณะเป็นรูปหอก หรือรูปไข่ ปลายใบแหลม โคนใบสอบ ขอบใบเรียบหรือจักเป็นสี่เหลี่ยม ขนาดของใบกว้างประมาณ 0.5-1 นิ้วยาว 1-1.5 นิ้ว มีก้านใบยาวราว ๆ ครึ่งนิ้วได้ [4]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว เรียงตรงข้าม รูปสามเหลี่ยม กว้าง 3-4 ซม. ยาว 3-6 ซม. ขอบใบหยักฟันเลื่อย [1]
