ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อบริเวณปลายยอด ช่อหนึ่งยาวประมาณ 7 นิ้ว ปลายช่อม้วนเหมือนงวงช้าง ดอกเรียงเป็นแถว มีสีขาว หรือสีฟ้า ดอกขนาดเล็ก มีกลีบรองกลีบดอก และกลีบดอกอยู่ 5 กลีบ โคนกลีบเชื่อมติดกันเป็นท่อ ปลายกลีบแยกออกจากกัน ดอกมีขนาดกว้างประมาณ 2 มม. ข้างดอกมีขนนุ่ม ภายในท่อดอกมีเกสรตัวผู้ 5 อัน และเกสรตัวเมียอยู่ 2 อัน ติดอยู่กับฐานดอก [4]

ต้น : เป็นพรรณไม้ล้มลุก ลำต้นมีความสูงประมาณ 0.5-3 ฟุต ทั่วลำต้นมีขนสั้น [4]

ต้น : ไม้ล้มลุกฤดูเดียว สูงประมาณ 50 ซม. ลำต้นกลมสด อวบน้ำ สีเขียว ผิวลำต้นมีขนค่อนข้างแข็ง ยาว 3-5 มม. ปกคลุมหนาแน่นตลอดลำต้น [2]

ผล : เป็นรูปไข่ มีขนาดเล็ก เปลือกผลแข็ง ภายในผลมี 2 ช่องๆ หนึ่งมี 1 เมล็ด [4]

ใบ : เป็นใบเดี่ยว รูปไข่ ปลายใบแหลม ริมขอบหยักหรือมีคลื่นเล็กน้อย โคนใบหยักเว้าเป็นรูปหัวใจ พื้นผิวหยาบ ขรุขระ มีขนเล็กน้อย ใบมีขนาดกว้างประมาณ 1-2 นิ้ว ยาวประมาณ 1-3 นิ้ว [4]

ใบ : ใบเดี่ยว เรียงตัวแบบตรงข้ามใน 1-2 คู่ ที่โคนต้น ตอนบนเรียงตัวแบบสลับเป็นเกลียว ใบรูปข้าวหลามตัด หรือรูปไข่ โคนใบตัดตรง หรือเว้าเข้าเล็กน้อย มีครีบปีกใบ 2 ข้าง ก้านใบไปตลอดถึงโคนก้านใบ ปลายใบแหลม ขอบใบ ผิวใบเป็นคลื่นขรุขระ ใบกว้าง 3-10 ซม. ยาว 5-15 ซม. (รวมก้านใบ) ก้านใบเป็นร่องด้านบน ใบ ก้านใบและยอดอ่อนมีขนปกคลุมหนาแน่น [2]
