ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อห้อยระย้า ยาว 20-45 ซม. ดอกสีเหลือง มี 5 กลีบ [2]

ดอก : ออกเป็นช่อห้อยระย้าลงมาจากง่ามใบ ดอกมีสีเหลือง ปลายมน เห็นลายชัดเจน ดอกมีเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 4 ซม. [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น มีความสูงประมาณ 15 เมตร [1]

ต้น : เป็นไม้ยืนต้น เปลือกต้นเกลี้ยง สีน้ำตาลปนเทา [2]

ถิ่นที่พบ : มีถิ่นกำเนิดในแถบเอเชียเขตร้อน [1]

ผล : เป็นฝักกลมยาว 30-60 ซม. ฝักอ่อนสีเขียว เมื่อแก่เปลี่ยนเป็นสีน้ำตาล [2]

เกสร : เกสรตัวผู้มีประมาณ 10 อัน ยาวไม่เท่ากัน บางอันจะฝ่อลีบไป [1]

เมล็ด (ผล) : เป็นฝักรูปทรงกระบอกยาว ปลายแหลมและสั้น ฝักอ่อนจะมีสีเขียว เมื่อแก่เต็มที่จะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีดำ มีความยาวประมาณ 30-60 ซม. เส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางประมาณ 1.5-2 ซม. ภายในฝักมีแผ่นกั้นเป็นห้องๆ ตามขวาง ในแต่ละห้องมี 1 เมล็ด มีลักษณะเป็นแผ่นกลมแบน [1]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบ แบบขนนก ออกเรียงสลับ ใบย่อยรูปรี ปลายและโคนใบแหลม เนื้อใบเรียบ มีสีเขียว เป็นมัน [2]

ใบ : เป็นใบประกอบ ใบย่อยมี 4-8 คู่ รูปไข่ มีความยาวประมาณ 6-15 ซม. กว้างประมาณ 3.5-5 ซม. ปลายใบแหลม โคนก้านใบร่วม บริเวณที่ตัดกับกิ่งจะพองออกเล็กน้อย [1]
